This is what I would like to share to give hope to our diligent farmers but also to our great students:
To our farmers, the bread of our sustenance:
Your palms tend the earth, feeding the lifeblood of the world. You are the pillars of our society, the protectors of our country and the food givers that keeps us all going. Your work ethic, your perseverance in spite of obstacles, and your passion for land motivates us daily. You never know how powerful your contributions really are. You’re not only growing crops; you’re growing futures, supporting traditions, and caring for the future of those who will follow you. Embrace innovation, keep learning and changing, and know that your work is greatly appreciated and vital. We’re here for you, to help develop your skills and honor your important work.

You are the thought leaders, the disruptors, and the future leaders. Your thirst for knowledge, your insatiable curiosity, and your desire to learn more are the key to a brighter future for all. Welcome the difficulties that come your way, for they are blessings in disguise. Be relentless in pursuing knowledge and ask the hard questions never stop learning and never limit your potential. Sure, you have different paths, but each of them is just another piece of our community quilt. Farmers are the foundation upon which we stand, and students are the architects of what we are moving toward. Let’s work together and put a national staff to help us, as I was taught to in Africa, as we seek to thank both of you for what you do.
